A few months ago we wrote about our CEO, Siebert Neethling, delivering guest lectures on Organisational Culture at the world-famous EDHEC Business School in France. EDHEC is one of the highly selective Grand Écoles. It is one of the most prestigious business schools in Europe and the world.

Another of our Directors, Julia Milner, is a Professor in Leadership at EDHEC. Julia and Siebert met in Sydney in 2013 and have been close friends and colleagues ever since. They have worked together in Australia, France, the UK and China, and have one of those ideal collaborative relationships. They are “sufficiently similar to understand each other easily, and sufficiently different to surprise each other”. This quote is from Daniel Kahneman’s reflection on his friendship with Amos Tversky, in the introduction to Thinking Fast and Slow.

Amongst her many accomplishments Julia was recently rated amongst the Best 40 academics under 40 world-wide.

Siebert and Julia’s most recent collaboration was on EDHEC’s Executive MBA Program in Lille, where they explored the value of Coaching in building strong Organisational Culture and Leadership.

We are privileged to have Julia on our leadership team, and to continue to benefit from her incredible depth of knowledge, and her graceful wisdom.

Oh, and you haven’t seen our playful and surprising short video clip on collaboration yet, see our previous LinkedIn post or find it below:
